We collect only what Forge needs to work. We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.
What we collect
- Account: your name, email, profile photo and username.
- Training: workouts, sets, plans, schedule and streaks you log in Forge.
- Apple Health (only if you allow it): steps, distance, energy, heart rate, heart rate variability, VO₂ max, sleep, workouts, body measurements and nutrition. Forge also saves your finished workouts to Apple Health.
- Food: plate photos, typed or spoken food notes, and the estimates made from them.
- Posts and messages: photos, videos and text you share with your club or coach.
- Location (only if you allow it): to map outdoor runs and find gyms and coaches near you.
- Camera, microphone, photos, calendar and motion: used only for the feature you're using at the time (for example, taking a plate photo or adding a session to your calendar).
How we use it
- To run the app: show your progress, your club and your coach's plans.
- To share with your coach: if you join a coach's club, your coach sees your workouts, steps, food diary and progress.
- To estimate food: plate photos are sent to our server and an image-recognition service to estimate what's on the plate. They are not used for ads.
Who stores it
Your data is stored with our hosting providers (Supabase for the database and files, Cloudflare for our servers). They process it only for Forge.
Your choices
- Turn off Apple Health, location, camera or other access at any time in your iPhone's Settings.
- Delete your account in Me → Settings → Delete account. Your account and the data linked to it are deleted.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or ask a question, on the support page.
Children
Forge is for people aged 16 and over.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app.
